Quadra Island Tourism is an initiative of the Discovery Islands Chamber of Commerce and has been working in partnership with Tourism British Columbia’s Community Tourism Opportunities and local Quadra Island accommodation, tour operators, wellness practitioners & other businesses. Two years of community consultation between Tourism BC and the local community showed that there are many untapped opportunities for great experiences on Quadra Island all year round.
The Quadra Island Tourism Plan was developed to encourage partnerships between Quadra Island businesses to create year round active and experiential vacation packages available in the fall of 2009 to fall 2010.
