Quadra - a small Island with a big heart! An old-feel Fall Fair, in the spirit of rural tradition. This Fair showcases the breadth of diverse talents this island is home to. Exhibits, animals, entertainment, games, food, demonstrations and friendly competitions designed to inform, entertain, delight, encourage and inspire.

YES, Quadra Island’s Fall Fair returns for 2018!

Plans are hatching and volunteers are mustering for this year’s exciting rendition of Quadra Island’s Fall Fair to be held September 9.

Dates to note:

July 31 is the deadline for vendor applications. Form available on the top of this page.

September 8 is the day to deliver your truckload of exhibit entries. With this long growing season we are looking forward to a landslide of garden cornucopia as well as an amazing array of “over wintered” creative projects to fill the main hall.

September 9 is THE day to spend with family and friends taking in the exhibits, displays, demonstrations, informative talks, events, food, and artisan vendors. As always, look for a few surprises! All community services and businesses are invited to showcase themselves with a creatively decorated, informative booth.

Onward! Into the garden, the studio, the kitchen table craft attack, the farmyard, and building of dreams. See you September 9 on the grounds of the Quadra Community Centre!

Grand Prix Zucchini Racing
Soup up your zuke, no drivers license required. Rules published closer to Fair date. All ages invited to race. Zucchini Race Rules (PDF)>

Doggie Dash
who is the fastest dog on Quadra?

Pet Parade
Promenade your pet in fancy finery or let it be judged by merit alone.

Gumboots & Backyard Games
slow down and have some fun with these interactive games.

Livestock Expo Tent
a variety of farm animals on display.
(No judged animal exhibits this year).

Cakewalk
Dance through a few hoops to win a locally baked, deliciously delectable cake!

Eats and Beats
Bistro Style food, stop by for a graze and groove.

Dunk Tank
Get ready for a day of daring dunking!

Crosscut Sawing Competition
Here are the key ingredients: Sawhorses, logs, crosscut saw, team of two, rhythm.

Jump Park
Feel that vicarious adrenaline rush while to cheering on our local Sprockids.

Strong Wo/Man Competition
Watch local super heroes perform Herculean feats of strength, speed, and agility.

Skate Park
Cheer on our local kids as they give us their best tricks, twists & jumps.

Pony Rides
Rides will be 12:00- 2:00--pm each rider will have 5 - 10 minutes on one of four horses. Ride passes will be available on Fair Day.
