Visitors come to Quadra Island from all over the world. Our mild temperate climate makes the island a perfect destination at any time of year, but of course summer time is the most popular season to visit. It's important to ensure you have accommodation booked in advance during July and August. You may be lucky and find a vacancy but generally it makes sense to call ahead.

Most of the resorts and lodges are also open during the shoulder season. Both April to June and September to October are special times of the year when the weather is beautiful, spring flowers or fall colours light up the scenery but the quieter atmosphere enhances the relaxed pace of Island life.

Increasingly Quadra Islanders are making their rental properties and homes available to guests. There is a growing list of rental cabins, cottages and houses on Quadra Island. If a hotel is more your style there are lodges and resorts offering a wide range of accommodation styles to suit every taste and budget.
